Music Education degree programme implemented at the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science of the University of Silesia in Katowice received a positive programme assessment from the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA). The assessment was awarded for 6 years until the academic year 2027\/2028.<\/span><\/p>\n The programme is offered at the Cieszyn campus on 1st and 2nd cycle studies with a general academic profile. The curriculum includes modules in the field of theoretical subjects on music and music pedagogy as well as modules related to the development of practical skills (including playing a selected instrument, basics of composition and arrangement, singing, conducting, rhythmics, instrumentation, choir, orchestras).
