On Wednesday, 13 July 2022, a meeting with the Minister of National Education Przemys\u0142aw Czarnek took place at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The visit was an opportunity to talk with the University authorities: Prof. Ryszard Kozio\u0142ek, Rector of the University of Silesia, as well as vice-rectors \u2013 Prof. Ewa Jarosz; Katarzyna Trynda, PhD, Assoc. Prof.; Prof. Micha\u0142 Daszykowski; and Prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Minister Przemys\u0142aw Czarnek presented the Rector of the University of Silesia with a cheque for over PLN 13 million. This amount will be spent for:<\/p>\n
- \n
- maintenance and development of educational potential (increase in education subsidy) \u2013 PLN 9,308,500;<\/li>\n
- implementation of the project \u201cSupporting university consolidation processes\u201d \u2013 PLN 3,640,140;<\/li>\n
- implementation of the project \u201cDidactic excellence of the University\u201d \u2013 PLN 463,500.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
