The USil Education Centre organises a series of training sessions in academic teaching.<\/p>\n

\u2018Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)\u2019 is an initiative through which participants will be introduced to basic premises of content and language integrated learning, education, teaching languages and content in integrated subject-language education.<\/p>\n

The meetings take place on 7 and 9 February 2023 from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Registration is obligatory:\u00a0https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/CWTAD4mSVu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018Course Design\u2019 meetings take place from 28 November to 2 December 2022 between 4-6 p.m. Their premise is to introduce participants to the idea of modern academic education, the role and tasks of academics, modify the awareness of their role, and develop skills of searching and making use of the various forms of support for academics proposed by a university.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Education Centre launches meetings in a series called \u2018Educational brunch\u2019 taking place every Wednesday at 1 p.m. They will be an opportunity to discuss, consult and talk about chosen topics related to the daily educational practice.<\/p>\n

The entrance is free.<\/p>\n

All the meetings take place at the USil University of Silesia (ul. Uniwersytecka 4, Katowice) in room A1.6.<\/p>\n

The training sessions and meetings are organised by the Open University at the University of Silesia.<\/p>\n
