CYBER SCIENCE Silesian Centre for Legal Engineering, Technology and Digital Competence has established cooperation with GitHub Inc. in USA. GitHub is an online hosting service for software development and version control using Git technology. Since 2018, GitHub Inc. is a subsidiary of Microsoft.<\/p>\n
As part of this cooperation, the University of Silesia has become the second university in Poland that participates in the GitHub Campus programme. As partners, we acquired 25,000 Enterprise GitHub licenses for the entire university.<\/p>\n
Anyone can get the access to the license \u2013 both administrative and research and didactic employees, students and post-graduate students. The condition is to report to the administrator, i.e. representatives of Cyber \u200b\u200bScience, and indicate what projects will be carried out on the account, which will be attached to the profile of the University of Silesia. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
