On 2 February 2023 in Washington, D.C., Jane Sargus, the Executive Director of the Congressional Office For International Leadership, officially inaugurated the study visit of the ‘Open World’<\/a> programme concerning the social inclusion of people with disabilities.<\/p>\n Among the participants is Anna Nawrot, USil Coordinator for Accessibility, who acts as a facilitator. She was responsible for professional support for delegates with disabilities.<\/p>\n During the meeting, Prof. Sam Potolicchio of Georgetown University introduced the participants to the context of the American vision of leadership. The participants also visited Gallaudet University, which is a world leader in the education of the Deaf.<\/p>\n In the coming days, the participants will move to Indiana and Kentucky, where they will have a chance to see in practice the mechanisms of inclusion of people with disabilities in education, employment and social services, as well as respect for civil rights.<\/p>\n \n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n Anna Nawrot \u2013 USil Coordinator for Accessibility | Photo from private gallery of A.
