The ranking was based on individual talks between analysts and employees of companies and institutions. The interviewees expressed their opinions regarding seven areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>image and growth (e.g. subjective opinion on employment growth and general opinion on the employer),<\/li>\n<li>development and prospects (personal development opportunities, subjective feeling of appreciation for the work performed),<\/li>\n<li>employee relations and management (e.g. competitiveness at the workplace, nurturing the culture of cooperation),<\/li>\n<li>pay (e.g. assessment of responsibility in work performed and the remuneration received, perks and benefits for employees),<\/li>\n<li>sustainability (e.g. awareness of ecological responsibility, employer&#8217;s actions regarding environmental protection),<\/li>\n<li>workload (e.g. holiday policy, the flexibility of working hours),<\/li>\n<li>working conditions and equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Due to the level of financing, higher education institutes cannot compete with commercial entities when it comes to correspondingly rewarding remuneration; therefore, we are happy and proud that the University of Silesia is perceived as a good employer by many of its employees, representatives of companies and institutions<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p><img class=\"size-medium wp-image-132600\" src=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/t4e\/rektorat-U\u015a-fot-Julia-Agnieszka-Szymala.png\" alt=\"Zdj\u0119cie rektoratu fot.
