The awards are granted in an open competition to persons and projects promoting science communication.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each person can submit their nomination proposals in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Video Blog,<\/li>\n<li>Website or Blog,<\/li>\n<li>Radio Broadcast or Podcast,<\/li>\n<li>Think Globally, Act Locally \u2013 Academic Community<\/li>\n<li>Think Globally, Act Locally \u2013 Resident of the Silesian Voivodeship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two regional categories award people who promote knowledge using different communication channels and are university representatives or act without such an affiliation (e.g. in a school or an NGO).<\/p>\n<p>The jury appointed by the organiser of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE will select nominees from the submitted proposals, while the winners will be announced as a result of the voting scheduled for summer\/autumn 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>Submission forms for the POP Science Award 2023:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=kWLHUIAMRESi-0-KsWjDEdODAdW6rfRNqU447DrI7eNUQjdKOUZYT1dON1ZaSUVITzhFRVRNWE9WRS4u\">Nominate yourself or your own initiative<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=kWLHUIAMRESi-0-KsWjDEdODAdW6rfRNqU447DrI7eNUN0lGOVZSRjFPMFdTSlNIVzFNNExWQ1NYVC4u\">Nominate another person\/initiative<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s POP Science Award will be the 4th one presented. It is one of the three awards presented as part of the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE.
