The competition is addressed to teachers who work in primary and secondary schools in the Silesian Voivodeship.<\/p>\n<h3>Nominees<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Edyta Duffek \u2013 English teacher in Stefan \u017beromski II High School in D\u0105browa G\u00f3rnicza;<\/li>\n<li>Ewa Wawoczny \u2013 Polish teacher in I Primary School with Integrated Classes in Racib\u00f3rz;<\/li>\n<li>Katarzyna Paliga \u2013 library teacher in Alfred Szklarski 29<sup>th<\/sup> Primary School with Sport Classes in D\u0105browa G\u00f3rnicza;<\/li>\n<li>Halina Pospiesza\u0142owska \u2013 teacher in Fryderyk Chopin Music School in Bytom and in Karol Szymanowski second-degree State Music High School in Katowice;<\/li>\n<li>Krzysztof Smyczek \u2013 teacher in Jan Sobieski the 3rd School Complex no 6 in Jastrz\u0119bie-Zdr\u00f3j and Practical Education Centre in Jastrz\u0119bie-Zdr\u00f3j.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The award was established in October 2022 on the initiative of the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Professor J\u00f3zef Pieter Foundation, in cooperation with GZM Metropolis. The laureate is selected by the jury of the Professor J\u00f3zef Pieter Award and announced during the Award gala on 14 October each year.
