A graduate and lecturer of Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice won the 31st edition of the Polityka<\/em> Passport Award for film. The award was given for the sense of irony and daring breaking of schemes, some genre levity, yet the importance of the topic presented in the film Scarborn <\/em>(pol. Kos<\/em>), showing Poland, which is unknown in history textbooks.<\/p>\n The film by Pawe\u0142 Ma\u015blona had its world premiere during last year\u2019s Gdynia Film Festival. The film was then awarded with the Golden Lions for Best Film.<\/p>\n Pawe\u0142 Ma\u015blona is a director and screenwriter, a graduate in Political Science at Jagiellonian University and Film and Television Directing at the USil Faculty of Radio and Television (now: Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski Film School at the University of Silesia).
