The GEPARD team would like to invite to participate in an international academic conference entitled \u201cCommunity of diversity, equity and inclusion: Towards supporting well-being and sustainability\u201d, which will take place from 21-22 of March 2024 in Katowice, Poland.<\/p>\n
The event will be an opportunity to present the results of the GEPARD project and discuss the importance and ways to implement the principles of diversity, equivalence and inclusion in academic and non-academic environments.<\/p>\n
Representatives from various academic disciplines, as well as those responsible for the implementation of equality and diversity policies and the development of well-being in university and community settings, have been invited to participate in the conference. The aim of the initiative is to develop conclusions and recommendations on directions and ways to develop equality policies and actions to support them, including research, promotion and education, as well as interventions against violations of dignity and security.<\/p>\n
The international nature of the meeting will encourage the adoption of a comparative perspective of reflection. The participation of researchers, experts and practitioners in the implementation of equality policies from different socio-cultural backgrounds will allow for the exchange of experiences and, as a result, mutual learning.<\/p>\n
