The first popular science lecture in the series \u2018Espresso with experts \u2013 inspiring meetings with science masters\u2019 on exact and technical sciences will take place on 25 April 2024 from 5 to 6 p.m. at SpinPLace (ul. Bankowa 5, Katowice).<\/p>\n

The guest of the upcoming meeting will be \u0141ukasz Lam\u017ca, PhD \u2013 a specialist in the philosophy of science and theoretical biology, science journalist, employee of the Copernicus Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of Jagiellonian University, and editor of Tygodnik Powszechny<\/em>, who will deliver a lecture entitled \u201eMi\u0119kka robotyka i inteligentna materia: jeszcze inna AI\u201d [Soft robotics and intelligent matter: a different side of AI].<\/p>\n

All interested people are welcome to participate. The main aim of the initiative is to encourage participants to discover the fascinating world of exact sciences and expand their knowledge.<\/p>\n

The event is implemented under the City-Region-Academia stream as part of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 celebrations.<\/p>\n
