Andrzej Pastwa, PhD, Faculty of Theology, was awarded the <em>honorary doctorate degree<\/em> at Universitatea Ovidius din Constan\u021ba. During the ceremony of awarding the degree, taking place on 12 April 2024 in Romania, he delivered the lecture <em>Canon Law in the Service of Ecumenism<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/wydzial\/wtl\/osoby\/pastwa-andrzej\/\">Rev. Andrzej Pastwa, PhD<\/a> is a priest of the Archdiocese of Katowice, a lecturer at the Faculty of Theology, University of Silesia in Katowice, and the Head of the Postgraduate Studies in Pastoral Theology. Lecturer at the Higher Silesian Seminary between 1999\u20132001. In 2008, he received the title of Doctor of Science in law in canon law \u2013 marriage law. A notary since 1992, and a judge at the Katowice Metropolitan Court since 2004.
