It consists of fourteen people, including four associated with the University of Silesia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bo\u017cena Czwojdrak, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia,<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Katarzyna Kraso\u0144 from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia,<\/li>\n<li>Olga Przybyla, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia,<\/li>\n<li>Prof. Tadeusz S\u0142awek \u2013 Rector of the University of Silesia in the years 1996\u20132002,\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Rev. Grzegorz Strzelczyk, PhD from the Faculty of Theology of the University of Silesia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On 17 June 2024, the first meeting of the Programme Council was held, during which Olga Przybyla, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. was elected Vice-Chair.<\/p>\n<p>The Programme Council is responsible for giving opinions and implementing the statutory activities of the Silesian Library. It consists of: a representative of the Silesian Voivodeship Assembly, a representative of the City of Katowice and experts in the fields relevant to the institution\u2019s activities.
