On 1 July 2024, Dariusz Laska became the new Chancellor of the University of Silesia in Katowice.<\/p>\n

Dariusz Laska completed his Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degree studies in Political Science at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Moreover, he completed postgraduate studies in commercial and economic law (University of Silesia in Katowice), European project management (University of Economics in Katowice), cooperation\/innovation\/technology network brokerage (Silesian University of Technology), it addition to completing Executive Master of Business Administration studies. Since 2010, he has been professionally associated with the University of Silesia. In the years 2011\u20132013, he was the Plenipotentiary of the Rector for Commercialisation and Development of Cooperation Networks.\u00a0\u00a0 In the years 2014-2016 he was the Director of the Centre for Scientific Research and Industry Cooperation. In the years 2014-2024, he was the Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board of the special purpose vehicle SPIN-US Sp. z o. o. From 2017, he served as Vice-Chancellor for Development and Industry Cooperation.<\/p>\n
