The term of office of the new Council of the National Programme for the Development of Humanities (RNPRH) appointed by Dariusz Wieczorek, Minister of Science, will last from 2024 to 2028. Micha\u0142 Krzykawski, PhD, Associate Professor of the University of Silesia, Director of the Centre for Critical Technology Studies (CCTS) of the University of Silesia, associated with the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice, was elected as a member of the council.<\/span><\/p>\n The RNPRH serves in an advisory capacity and is composed of members representing the humanities. The council’s main tasks include substantive assessment of applications for funding for the implementation of submitted projects, proposing candidates for experts participating in the application assessment process, and identifying the needs of Polish humanities.<\/span><\/p>\n Prof. Micha\u0142 Krzykawski specialises in contemporary philosophy and continental philosophy of science and technology.
