The semi-finalists of the Student Academy Awards 2024, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, have been announced. Among the 62 semifinalists is a short narrative film by Bart\u0142omiej B\u0142aszczy\u0144ski Take me to her <\/em>(produced by the Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice). Semifinalists were selected from a total of 2683 films. Take me to her <\/em>is the only Polish film to reach the semifinal stage.<\/p>\n Basia pretends in front of her husband that everything is fine. At her acting school entrance exams, she meets Alicia and her infant child, whom she takes care of. After a demanding performance and a difficult confrontation with her husband, Basia decides to kidnap Alicja\u2019s baby and inadvertently puts her in danger.
