Dancing on the clouds<\/em> directed by Micha\u0142 Mieszczyk \u2013 a Film and Television Directing graduate from the Faculty of Radio and Television of the University of Silesia \u2013 won first prize at the 13th Hommage \u00e0 Kie\u015blowski 2024 in Soko\u0142owsko.<\/p>\n

In this year\u2019s edition, two equal main prizes were awarded for feature films. Micha\u0142 Mieszczyk\u2019s film was awarded alongside a short film entitled Through You, After You<\/em> directed by J\u0119drzej G\u00f3rski from the Warsaw Film School.<\/p>\n

Dancing on the clouds <\/em>tells a story of how Patryk tries to get his life in order by starting a relationship with Maja and becoming a proper father for her two-year-old son Mati. He decides to become a co-conspirator in drug trafficking to earn money for the wedding. Unexpectedly, Mati\u2019s biological father comes from abroad and seems to represent everything Patryk lacks: stability, security, and affluence. Patryk\u2019s dreams get challenged by the harsh reality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
