Prof. and Robert Pyka, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia became members of the advisory teams for the \u2018Science for Society\u2019 and \u2018Science for Society II\u2019 programmes.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes funding for research projects. It consists of four areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>research excellence,<\/li>\n<li>science for innovation,<\/li>\n<li>humanities \u2013 society \u2013 identity,<\/li>\n<li>physical culture for an active and healthy society (new area in the announcement establishing the \u2018Science for Society II\u2019 programme).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The main goal of the programme is to support entities of the higher education and science, as well as other organisational units working to disseminate science, including in the field of building cooperation with the socio-economic sector, developing and implementing solutions serving local and regional communities, and creating theoretical models covering social issues.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the 2023 call for applications show great interest in the programme.
