The academic employees may submit their proposals in the Rector\u2019s Distinctions for excellent education in the academic year 2023\/2024, organised within the Motivational System in Academic Education (SMoDA) of the University of Silesia in Katowice.<\/p>\n
The Distinctions have been evaluated on a continuous basis, and efforts are put to make it open for all people contributing to the educational potential of our University. This year, a few amendments to the Rules and Regulations have been introduced; these concern:<\/p>\n

- methods of applying;<\/li>\n
- ways of selecting the winners;<\/li>\n
- increasing the number of criteria (the categories and criteria suggested in the previous years have been upheld in the Rules and Regulations).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Read the Rules and Regulations for the Distinctions and feel free to send your applications, as this year the Competition Jury is to decide on the winners (detailed composition of the Jury in the Rules and Regulations), and the application should be made by a person recommending a candidate indicated by the Rules and Regulations. A dedicated form will be sent directly to people who may recommend you to be awarded the Rector\u2019s Distinction, and there are several hundred of these people, so we assume that the application process will be as participatory as possible.
