Lepszy Lecture Hall in the Rectorate building of the University of Silesia in Katowice, a ceremonial gala of the <strong>Teaching Celebration<\/strong> was held.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The event was an opportunity to honour the outstanding teaching achievements of our academic employees and to congratulate the winners of competitions organised as part of the <strong>Motivational System in Academic Education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results of competitions under the Motivational System in Academic Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rector\u2019s Distinctions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This competition recognised people who showed exceptional commitment to teaching, achieved particular successes in this area or introduced innovative solutions in the field of education. Based on the applications, the competition committee selected 30 teams that had a chance to implement their ideas. Prof., Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education and Marzena B\u0119dkowska-Ob\u0142\u0105k, PhD, Plenipotentiary of the Rector for Education Quality and Accreditation &#8211; the heads of the competition juries.<\/p>\n<p>The gala also included a lecture \u2018Trends in academic education 2025\u2019, delivered by Marcela Gruszczyk, PhD and Joanna Mercik, PhD.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acknowledgements and congratulations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We would like to congratulate all the winners and thank them for their contribution to improving the quality of education at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
