The basic admission for 1st-cycle full-time studies and long-cycle studies at the University of Silesia concluded on July 11. The first results of the admission process will be announced on 18 July. This year, the University of Silesia offers 96 fields of study, including 9 programmes in English, to prospective students.<\/p>\n
Popularity of degree programmes<\/h3>\n
A total of 19,689 registrations were made in the Online Application System (IRK). Such a high number shows that the University of Silesia, as the largest university in the region, a socially engaged institution, a leader in joint academic projects in recent years and a university conducting scientific research of particular importance for the life and development of our region, continues to be an attractive place for future students.<\/p>\n

Admission results<\/h3>\n
Candidates will receive their recruitment results on their Online Application System accounts from 18 July, as well as on the ranking lists published on the website. The detailed information about a specific date and time can be found in the schedule of each degree programme at the Online Application System catalogue. In accordance with the regulations on personal data protection, the lists will be made only visible to candidates registered in the Online Application System.<\/p>\n
There will be a second admission for the programmes where the number of candidates does not meet the admission limits.<\/p>\n
