The latest Stanford Top 2% ranking, which includes researchers from around the world who have had the greatest impact on the development of science, features as many as 30 representatives of the University of Silesia.<\/strong><\/p>\n The ranking, compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, takes into account both total scientific output (career) and achievements within a single year (single year). It is based on an analysis of bibliometric data from the Scopus database and classifies scientific achievements in all fields of science according to a bibliometric index that takes into account criteria such as: the Hirsch index, number of citations (including self-citations), Impact Factor, position and role on the list of authors.<\/p>\n\n
