Tomasz S\u0142upik, PhD, (Faculty of Social Sciences) has been appointed to the Council for Equal Treatment at the Ministry of National Education.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Council members will analyse the situation of different groups within the education system and of the institutions operating in it in terms of equal treatment; identify areas that require action in the field of equality policies and anti-discrimination measures in education and upbringing; and provide opinions on documents concerning the Minister\u2019s activities related to equal treatment.<\/p>\n

Slupik\u2019s research is concerned with the history of ideas with an emphasis on the socio-political thought of the 19th and 20th centuries. His research interests also include the history, culture and national-ethnic relations of Upper Silesia.<\/p>\n
