From May to October 2025, over 100 international mobilities have already taken place as part of the \u2018PROM \u2013 Short-term academic exchange\u2019 project, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Participants included students and doctoral students of the University of Silesia, academic and administrative staff, as well as guests from foreign universities.<\/p>\n
The mobilities, lasting from 5 to 30 days, involved the exchange of participants from countries around the world. Those within the PROM project had the opportunity to actively participate in international conferences and competitions, summer schools, intensive courses, and study visits.<\/p>\n
The PROM project is not only about improving competences, but also exchanging values, experiences and creating memories that cannot be captured in the rigid framework of statistics. It is worth mentioning the successes of its participants during the finals of the global Odyssey of the Mind competition<\/a>.<\/p>\n The PROM project also brings added value in the form of developing the internationalisation of the University of Silesia in Katowice. During his stay in China<\/a>, Adam Wojtaszek, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia, established fruitful cooperation with local universities, which resulted in the signing of a bilateral agreement.<\/p>\n The last two months of the project implementation allow for supplementary recruitment for students and doctoral students from the University of Silesia.
