In the latest edition of the ISC World University Rankings by Subject 2024, the University of Silesia was ranked 4\u20136 in Poland in Languages and Literature. In the category of Earth and Related Environmental Sciences, we ranked 2\u20139 in the country.<\/p>\n

We also noted an improvement in the area of Humanities and the Arts, ranking 7th\u20138th among Polish universities and 501st\u2013600th in the world among 704 classified institutions.<\/p>\n

Our University was also included in the Chemical Sciences and Materials Engineering rankings.<\/p>\n

The ISC World University Rankings evaluate universities with recognised prestige and publication achievements in a given discipline, based on three main criteria: research quality, international activity and innovation.<\/p>\n
