In the new academic year, the University of Silesia would like to invite children from two years old with their parents to train in the judo section.

The aim of the classes will be, above all, for children to have fun and spend time in an active way. Participants will get to know the basic elements of judo. Both children and their guardians will have the opportunity to develop psychomotor skills, in addition to teamwork skills.

During the training, young students will practice not only with their tutors, but also with their peers. The classes also include exercises planned specifically for parents, so that they too have the opportunity to use this time effectively.

Anyone interested can attend the classes freely, after purchasing membership in University Sports Association of the University of Silesia and paying a semester fee of PLN 100 per pair of participants.

Training sessions will take place on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. at the rectorate of the University of Silesia (Katowice, ul. Bankowa 12, room B1.1). Participants are asked to bring sports outfit (T-shirt, long trousers). The first training session is scheduled for 28 September 2022.

Detailed information can be found at: azsus.pl and by contacting Luiza Czakańska-Jaklik, MA, who conducts the classes (e-mail: luiza.czakanska@gmail.com, phone number: 601 515 252).
