IWIS is the biggest international event in Poland to promote inventiveness and innovations. This initiative mainly allows to present the scientific output of Polish scientists and inventors in relation to global solutions, as well as to establish contacts between the inventors and potential investors. The presented innovations constitute a review of technical achievements, some of which are already used in practice, while the others are still waiting for implementation. Every year the exhibition is accompanied by lectures and talks about intellectual property protection. The possibility to present solutions to all interested parties also contributes to communicating and building the positive image of Polish science in media.

The exhibition, organised by the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalisers, ended on 21 October 2020.
