Goals of Research Excellence Initiative<\/h3>\r\n

<\/p>\n

We want to shape the future of our University so that it matches the best universities in Poland and very good European universities soon. We will pursue this goal together by improving the quality of scientific research and education. We have also agreed to transform the Silesian Alma Mater<\/em> into a research university, and the detailed actions are outlined e.g. in the Development Strategy of the University of Silesia in Katowice for 2020-2025.<\/p>\n

We are launching the Research Excellence Initiatives to open funding opportunities for scientific research, publications, trainings and courses, software, trips, internships and purchase of key scientific, teaching and research infrastructure. We have also prepared a special offer for students and doctoral students.<\/p>\n
