[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”content-desktop”] [\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle”][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″]\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n The \u201cHorizon\u201d series presents research projects financed within the calls for proposals of the Research Excellence Initiative: the Green Horizon and the Post-COVID Horizon.<\/p>\n
The calls for proposals were addressed to interdisciplinary research teams focused on ecology, climate protection as well as functioning and development of the society facing the coronavirus pandemic. Altogether 10 projects received the funding, and the leaders of those projects represent natural and exact sciences, humanities, theology, law, and social sciences. The scientists received financial support of a total of more than PLN 1,100,000.<\/p>\n
