\u201cPicture books allow parents to talk to their children about problems that concern them personally\u201d, says Justyna Stefa\u0144czyk, PhD<\/a> from the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Silesia<\/a>. \u201cThe narrative is created by illustrations, interaction with the text happens separately, but there is also space for parents and guardians to tell their own stories, and, of course, there is the space for children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Therefore, on the occasion of International Children\u2019s Day (1 June), in addition to an ice cream dessert, a visit to a water park or to an amusement park, it is worth giving your children a book that conveys important content in a graphically attractive way. This could be The Law of Conservation of Energy<\/em><\/a>, which J. Stefa\u0144czyk, PhD created as part of the 2nd edition of the Freedom of Research call for proposals of the Research Excellence Initiative. The book was published by the Dzika Ma\u0142pa<\/a> publishing house founded by J. Stefa\u0144czyk, PhD.<\/p>\n
