The laboratory enables a full range of investigations \u2013 from diffraction measurements to advanced data analysis and interpretation. The main objective of the research includes <strong>phase identification<\/strong>, <strong>quantitative composition analysis<\/strong>, and detailed <strong>characterisation of the crystalline structure<\/strong> of powders, bulk materials, as well as thin films.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratory is equipped with an X-ray diffractometer and dedicated computer workstations with HighScore software and access to the ICDD PDF-5+ database. This setup allows for precise analysis of diffraction patterns, comparison with an extensive set of reference data, and comprehensive computational evaluation. The laboratory provides an integrated research environment for advanced phase and structural characterisation of materials applied across various scientific and industrial fields.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Equipment&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1645113822678-51a69647-60ce456e-2265&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The laboratory is equipped with:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Philips X\u2019Pert Pro X-ray diffractometer<\/strong> \u2013 the diffractometer equipped with an X-ray tube with copper anode (\u03bb CuK<sub>\u03b1<\/sub> = 1.54178 \u00c5), allowing for an analysis of powders, bulk materials, ceramics, metals and alloys, polymers and composites. Thanks to its high measurement precision, it allows for the determination of crystallite size, degree of crystallinity, as well as macro- and microstrains, including residual stresses.
