The Electrochemical Testing Laboratory<\/strong> conducts electrochemical characterisation and testing of conducting and semiconducting materials, assesses corrosion resistance, and studies and optimises surface-modification processes (including direct-current and pulsed electrodeposition, plasma electrolytic oxidation \u2013 PEO<\/strong>, and electrophoretic deposition \u2013 EPD<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The laboratory is equipped with conventional potentiostat\/galvanostat stations (CV, LSV, CA, CP, EIS) and a station for scanning electrochemical techniques (SKP, SVET, SECM, LEIS), enabling micrometre-scale mapping of local potentials, currents and impedance. This setup combines macroscopic measurements<\/strong> with local maps of electrochemical activity<\/strong> on material and coating surfaces under application-relevant conditions<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Equipment” tab_id=”1645113822678-51a69647-60ce”]\r\n
