The laboratory conducts research focused on the synthesis and characterization of conjugated polymeric materials, with applications directed toward neurotechnology, particularly as electrode coatings for neurostimulation. The scope of our activities includes both the synthesis and comprehensive analysis of the obtained materials in terms of their chemical composition, morphology, electrochemical parameters, and adhesion properties. Additionally, these coatings can be functionalized with therapeutic agents, whose encapsulation and controlled release constitute an important aspect of our research. A similar approach is applied to polymeric materials used in contactology, where bioactive substances are embedded within lens matrices. Furthermore, the laboratory performs studies on medical dressings, assessing their fluid absorption and retention capacities, which directly influence the effectiveness of maintaining a moist wound environment essential for the healing process. We also develop new formulations for polymer materials, including protective thin-walled materials (gloves).

[/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Equipment” tab_id=”1645113822678-51a69647-60ce456e-2265″]
