Research can be carried out at a wide range of temperatures from 173 K to 573 K and in high vacuum reaching 10\u207b\u2076 bar. The measurement results provide information on the size and distribution of free volume in polymers, as well as the pore size in microporous materials within the range of r<sub>h<\/sub> \u2248 1.5 \u00c5 to r<sub>h<\/sub> \u2248 100 \u00c5. The research technique also enables the characterization of defect structures, including the detection of crystalline structure defects in metallic materials. The laboratory is also equipped with a scanner for measuring \u03b1, \u03b2, \u03b3 and X-ray radiation levels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Equipment&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1645113822678-51a69647-60ce&#8221;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Positron lifetime spectrometer<\/strong> with a chamber for temperature-controlled measurements, equipped with a vacuum pump allowing a vacuum level of 10\u207b\u2076 bar to be achieved. The spectrometer has a time resolution of 240 ps. Measurements are conducted using a radioactive <sup>22<\/sup>Na\u00a0source.<\/li>\n<li><strong>VOLTCRAFT RM-400 radiation scanner<\/strong> with high sensitivity for detecting and measuring \u03b1, \u03b2, \u03b3 and X-ray radiation levels in the dose range from 0.01 mSv\/h to 1000 mSv\/h, pulse dose rate 0\u20134000 cpm, 0\u2013400 cps, accumulated dose from 0.001 mSv to 9999 Sv, and accumulated pulse count from 0 to 9999. Device sensitivity in a Co-60 radiation field with an intensity of 1 mSv\/h: 108 pulses or 1000 cpm\/mR\/h \u2014 for \u03b1 radiation from 4 MeV, for \u03b2 from 0.2 MeV, for \u03b3 from 0.02 MeV, and for X-ray radiation from 0.02 MeV.<\/li>\n<li><strong>THERMOVAC TM 101<\/strong> portable vacuum gauge for vacuum measurement in the range from 1200 to 5.0 \u00d7 10\u207b\u2074 mbar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Software&#8221;
