Her current research activity is centered on the phenomenon of memevertising. She is also interested in cognitivism, communication studies, and broadly-conceived contrastive linguistics.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, she took up a post as editorial assistant at <em>The European Journal of Humour Research<\/em> and became a member of the board of the Cracow Tertium Society for the Promotion of Language Studies.<\/p>\n<p>She acts as the supervisor of the NEOlinguists Scientific Circle (for both the doctoral and student divisions). Also, she leads a research group <em>Linguistic phenomena in internet and media discourses<\/em> in the Institute of Linguistics.
