W roku 2004 uzyska\u0142a doktorat, a w roku 2017 habilitacj\u0119 w dziedzinie j\u0119zykoznawstwa \u2013 stopnie nadane przez Uniwersytet \u015al\u0105ski. Obecnie uczy t\u0142umaczenia konferencyjnego oraz prowadzi seminaria dyplomowe z dziedziny przek\u0142adoznawstwa. Jej zainteresowania naukowe obejmuj\u0105 badania nad t\u0142umaczeniem ustnym, pragmatyk\u0119, socjolingwistyk\u0119 oraz najnowsze tendencje rozwojowe polszczyzny. She holds a PhD (2004) and a post-doctoral degree (2017) in linguistics from the University of Silesia, where she currently teaches conference interpreting and is responsible for diploma seminars in Translation Studies. Her scholarly interests include interpreting studies, pragmatics, sociolinguistics and the newest developments in the Polish language.
