My research interests focus on cognitive semantics and pragmatics, especially theory of linguistic metaphor and metonymy, and research on speech acts in the cognitive perspective. The second area of my research interests includes (im)politeness, cultural taboo and its linguistic representation, swearing as a linguistic activity, verbal aggression and hate speech.
