Wsp\u00f3lnie z prof. Danut\u0105 Gabry\u015b-Barker pe\u0142ni funkcj\u0119 redaktora naczelnego czasopisma <em>Theory and Practice of Second Language Acquisition<\/em> (za\u0142. 2015) wydawanego przez Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu \u015al\u0105skiego, indeksowanego przez SCOPUS. Jest wieloletnim wsp\u00f3\u0142organizatorem corocznej Mi\u0119dzynarodowej Konferencji na temat Przyswajania J\u0119zyka Obcego \/ Drugiego (International Conference on Foreign \/ Second Language Acquisition \u2013 ICFSLA), jednej z najwi\u0119kszych konferencji po\u015bwi\u0119conych tym zagadnieniom w Polsce. He has published two books on advertising discourse: <em>Deciphering Radio Commercials \u2013 A Pragmatic Perspective<\/em> (2002) and <em>Theoretical Frameworks in the Study of Press Advertisements \u2013 Polish, British and Chinese Perspective<\/em> (2011), as well as a number of articles on the topic. Together with prof. Danuta Gabry\u015b-Barker he acts as editor in chief of the SCOPUS-indexed journal <em>Theory and Practice of Second Language Acquisition<\/em> (est. 2015), published by the University of Silesia Press. He is one of the long-standing co-organisers of the annual International Conference on Foreign \/ Second Language Acquisition \u2013 ICFSLA, one of the leading conferences on the topic organised in Poland. He has extensive experience in supervising B.A, M.A. and PhD theses.
