2018 \u2013 University of Silesia \u2013 Ph.D. in literary studies on the basis of the dissertation entitled Robert Graves\u2019s Historical Consciousness. A Case Study in Literary Historiography<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

My research interests focus on historical fiction (metafiction, alternate history and speculative history included), which I analyse with respect to the changes the genre has undergone and the affinities it has with historiography, philosophy, and psychology. Although I concentrate on historical fiction written in English, my side interests include the works of Marylin Manson, narratology and selected theories of the cognitive humanities. I am a co-founder of the H\/Story<\/em> research group, with which I co-organise conferences on the issues concatenating history, literature, and culture. I am a member of The Robert Graves Society<\/em> and of the editorial board of World and Word<\/em> as well as an assistant editor of The Robert Graves Review<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
