Since 2020, she works as senior researcher at the Latvian Academy of Sport Education. Anastasija\u2019s most recent research explores equestrianism in medieval and early modern societies, and she has been one of the organizers of sessions on medieval equestrianism at the International Medieval Congress in Leeds since 2016.
