All the classes (lectures, labs, seminars, etc.) are taught in English, which enables the students to learn specialist terminology and to effectively communicate in English. MA\/MSc theses are written in English. All the classes, in small groups, are taught in English. High quality and effectiveness of education. You don\u2019t have to leave Poland to study in English! Make the best of this opportunity!<\/p>\n<p>The offer in English includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>degree programmes conducted entirely in English (including majors, if applicable);<\/li>\n<li>majors conducted entirely in English offered within programmes conducted in Polish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Admission at the University of Silesia in Katowice is conducted for degree programmes.<\/p>\n<p>In case of applying for a major in English, offered within a programme conducted in Polish, as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>major: Leadership in International Relations offered within the International Studies in Political Science and Diplomacy programme &#8211; first-cycle studies<\/li>\n<li>major: Geographic Information Systems offered within the Geography programme &#8211; second-cycle studies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8211; candidates are required to know only the English language.<\/p>\n<p>In case of applying for a major in English, offered within a programme conducted in Polish, i.e.:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>major: American and Canadian Studies for Intercultural Communications and Diplomacy offered within the English Philology programme &#8211; second-cycle studies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8211; knowledge of both languages, i.e. Polish and English is required. It will also not be displayed when applying the &#8220;Studies in English&#8221; filter within the &#8220;Groups of studies&#8221; section. To register for the above majors, please:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>on the webpage <a href=\"https:\/\/irk.us.edu.pl\/en-gb\/\">https:\/\/irk.us.edu.pl\/en-gb\/<\/a>, within a specific registration, select the study programme where the major conducted in English is offered;<\/li>\n<li>after entering the information about the study programmes, click on the &#8220;Apply&#8221; button;<\/li>\n<li>choose the appropriate source of funding for your studies and attach a required document (mandatory for individuals who are not Polish citizens).<\/li>\n<li>fill in the information regarding your completed field of study (if applicable);<\/li>\n<li>select the major;<\/li>\n<li>upload the required documents, including a document confirming knowledge of the language of instruction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Links to the admission for individual study programmes for the academic year 2025\/2026 are available above.
