Funding:<\/strong> Norway Grants<\/span><\/p>\n

Aim:<\/strong> The project was to develop a culture of quality in the education sector through:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. diagnosing, planning and implementing a university education concept based on:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u2013 universal design;<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013 inclusive education and personalised learning;<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u2013 the development of key skills relevant to socio-economic needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. preparing USil students and graduates so that they can adjust to the ever-changing reality.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      International Collaboration<\/strong>: The project was carried out in a partnership with the Icelandic Institute of Natural History, it enabled the exchange of experiences and perspectives between the units.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Activities implemented by the College of Interdisciplinary Individual Studies the project outcomes include:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. student education modules focusing on sustainability and environmental protection;<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. opportunities for international meetings:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \u2013 a delegation of representatives of the Icelandic Institute of Natural History visited the University of Silesia,<\/span><\/p>\n

        – a delegation of representatives of the University of Silesia visited the Icelandic Institute of Natural History;<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. an international expert debate called \u2018Islands of Knowledge: Environment \u2013 Global Change \u2013 Action Strategies \u2013 Cross-Sectoral Perspective;\u2019 the event took place within the European City of Science Katowice 2024.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
