RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • conducting scientific research in the scope of dielectric spectroscopy and high hydrostatic pressure spectroscopy,
  • participation in the national or international research projects and grants,
  • active participation in scientific conferences in Poland and in the international conferences,
  • conducting classes on the 1st cycle studies, 2nd cycle studies and doctoral studies for the programmes: Physics and related studies, Computer and information sciences,

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • PhD degree in the discipline of Physical sciences or in the related discipline,
  • conducting research in the scope of experimental physics in the scope of dielectric spectroscopy and high hydrostatic pressure spectroscopy,
  • documented scientific achievements in the discipline of physical sciences (indexed in Scopus, Web of Science),
  • author or co-author of minimum 4 publications in evaluation journals in physical sciences discipline in the last 3 years,
  • documented domestic and international scientific visits/stays,
  • documented active application for grants,
  • plan of scientific development,
  • knowledge of English that allows for conducting classes

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • ability to operate the equipment used for research in the scope of dielectric spectroscopy and high hydrostatic pressure spectroscopy
  • readiness to hold the function of the leader of the research team,
  • readiness for scientific and didactic mobility,
  • ability to cooperate in the research team
  • self-reliance, good organization of work,

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • conducting research in the discipline of law
  • work in research team or conducting individual research activity
  • conducting classes in Polish and English on the 1st cycle, 2nd cycle and long-cycle studies for the programs which curricula include classes connected with: theory and philosophy of law, introduction to jurisprudence and bioethical issues connected with animal protection – especially for the Law, Administration and Entrepreneurship programs,
  • supervision over students conducting research activity in the scope of theory and philosophy of law, bioethics and animal protection, as well as over the students taking part in scientific events and events popularizing science,
  • organizational activities for the University and for the Faculty of Law and Administration , in particular cooperation with Student and PhD Student Ombudsperson

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • doctoral degree in Law,
  • good command of English (B2),
  • conducting research in the discipline of law in the scope of theory and philosophy of law, especially in creating and usage of legal acts during the last 4 years,
  • scientific achievements in law in the scope of theory and philosophy of law during the last 4 years,
  • publications in scientific journals with 40 or more points on the lists of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (author or co-author) during the last 4 years,
  • documented experience in applying for research grants and realization of research projects
  • documented experience in work in the research team,
  • basic competences needed to conduct the interdisciplinary research in law, using non-legal tools of social sciences, like political science and public administration and sociology,
  • 4 years of documented experience in conducting classes in the higher education institution on the 1st cycle, 2nd cycle or long-cycle studies in introduction to jurisprudence or theory and philosophy of law
  • documented didactic achievements and achievements in promotion of science,
  • ability and experience in conducting classes with the use of the online tools

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • documented experience in coordination of work of the students’ organizations, especially students’ scientific associations,
  • documented experience in organizing educational and didactic events, such as conferences, seminars, workshops or other forms of knowledge exchange,
  • documented experience in local or international cooperation with organizations from the socio-economic environment of the university,
  • ability to work in the research team,
  • readiness to take the role of the leader of the research team,
  • self-reliance and good work organization skills,
  • readiness to conduct classes on University campuses and openness for didactic mobility (also on weekends),

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • conducting scientific research in the discipline of chemical sciences in the area of forensic chemistry,
  • conducting classes on the 1st cycle and 2nd cycle studies in Polish and English on the Chemistry Program, especially for the Forensic Chemistry specialization,
  • formulating research hypotheses and planning experiments in the scope of research tasks of the Forensic Chemistry Team, with special regard to creating the methodology and analysis of bloodstain formation mechanism,
  • data analysis, interpreting and working with data,
  • participation in presenting and publishing research results in journals with the number of points above the cut-off point for the discipline chemical sciences,
  • other organizational duties for the University arising from the University regulations

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • MA degree in science and natural sciences in the discipline of chemical sciences,
  • fluent written and spoken English (B2 – confirmed by the certificate or during the interview),
  • minimum 2 years of experience in conducting research in the discipline chemistry, including forensic chemistry,
  • minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory work,
  • documented scientific achievements indexed in Scopus or Web of Science in the last 2 years that proves conducting research in chemistry, especially forensic chemistry in the scope of Raman Spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy in research,
  • experience in interpretation of analytical data using chemometric and statistical methods for the needs of justice and law enforcement institutions,
  • minimum 3 months of the documented international internship in the institution using Raman Spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy,
  • knowledge of interpretation of data acquired in forensic laboratories documented in publications or confirmed by certificates (e.g. training certificates),
  • documented history of applying for funds for research in the Polish or foreign institutions,
  • ability to independently communicate research results orally and in writing, in particular self-editing manuscripts of scientific publications and spoken presentation of results, especially in English,
  • 2 years of experience in conducting classes in the higher education institution, on the 1st cycle and 2nd cycle studies in chemistry,
  • knowledge of Polish and English/other language that allows for conducting classes,
  • documented achievements in popularization of knowledge,

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • experience in the analysis of bloodstain formation mechanism (confirmed by courses and certificates),
  • experience in work in the programs used for data analysis using chemometric and statistical methods (e.g. R, Matlab and similar methods.),
  • experience in promotion of science (lectures, science festivals),
  • presentation of scientific development plan,
  • readiness for scientific and didactic mobility,
  • readiness to share one’s knowledge and experience with others,
  • ability to cooperate in a research team

  • organizational duties for the Institute of Earth Sciences in the scope arising from the job position.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • minimum doctoral degree in Earth sciences or in a related discipline,
  • significant scientific achievements in the scope of Earth sciences confirmed by publications in the international scientific journals, including publications graded IF >1, where the candidate is the first author or the correspondence author,
  • the command of English that allows for communication and preparation of scientific publications (min. B2);
  • experience in didactic work will be an advantage,
  • experience/ participation in realization/ managing of scientific projects.
  • specialization in climatology and meteorology or in the scope of atmospheric sciences,
  • ability to work with databases including atmosphere data (meteorological data and climatic data),
  • ability to use the tools for analysis of large databases and for visualization of environmental data,
  • ability to operate at least one application for statistical analyses (preferably R, MatLab or STATISTICA)

  • ability to prepare audiovisual presentations,
  • ability to operate GIS (minimum one application)
