\r\n \r\n \r\n I work in the International Admission Office. We recruit foreign candidates for the 1st, 2nd, and long-cycle studies. My job is to verify the candidates’ documents, which is not easy as each country has a different education system. I appreciate that I can work in an international environment and sometimes go abroad. It allows me to share my experiences with other people and to develop professionally.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>[vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″]\r\n

\r\n \r\n \r\n My first day of work was during the intensive recruitment period. I started to review the documents immediately, answering e-mails and phone calls at the same time. It was not easy, but the support of my superior was invaluable. My earlier experiences at the University of Silesia also helped me understand my work’s basics. I remember when a shop assistant in Ligota, near my student house, started to talk to me in Polish, and I could not understand a word. I was so afraid I just left the shop.
