The system is activated for the first time. class=\"container\">\r\n                         <h3 class=\"subtitle text-modules__subtitle\">ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"row m-0\">\r\n                            <div class=\"text-modules__content\">\r\n                                <span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">that must be fulfilled to get the holiday benefit<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>submitting<strong> the application<\/strong>\u00a0by the person entitled to the benefits (the e-application or the paper application)<\/li>\n<li>submitting the <strong>holiday application<\/strong> that confirms the required holiday period (holiday taken must not be shorter than 14 consecutive calendar days) to the Social Affairs Department:<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>non-academics<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>submit the holiday application signed by their direct superior;<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>academics<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0define in their application what holiday period from their organizational unit holiday plan will be used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Caution<\/u><u>!\u00a0<\/u>Pensioners and disability pensioners (former University of Silesia employees) are not obliged to define their holiday time or to submit the holiday application.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the case of application for <strong>children\u2019s holiday<\/strong>, the entitled person should submit the following documents (if applicable):<\/li>\n<li>the school\/student\u2019s ID card (applies to the child who is above 18),<\/li>\n<li>certificate of the significant degree of disability,<\/li>\n<li>the invoices that confirm the expenses connected with their child\u2019s holiday that they bore (applies to summer\/winter camps, organized holiday) \u2013 submitted together with the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"mt-3\"><\/div>\r\n                            <\/div>\r\n                            \r\n                            \r\n                        <\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules \">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                         <h3 class=\"subtitle text-modules__subtitle\">RULES OF GRANTING BENEFITS<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"row m-0\">\r\n                            <div class=\"text-modules__content\">\r\n                                <span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">social welfare benefit for the increased winter expenses (the so-called Christmas allowance) <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Due to introduction of one application form for multiple social benefits (the so-called Holiday allowance and Christmas allowance), the\u00a0applications for <strong>the social <\/strong><strong>welfare<\/strong><strong> benefit for the winter expenses (the so-called Christmas allowance)<\/strong> should be submitted within the period from the 15th of April 2026 till the 15th of October 2026, that is together with the application for holiday benefit (Christmas allowance).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pay-out of the social welfare for the increased winter expenses (the so-called Christmas allowance) depends on the financial resources of the Social Fund and may be realized in November-December 2026.<\/strong> \r\n                                <div class=\"mt-3\"><\/div>\r\n                            <\/div>\r\n                            \r\n                            \r\n                        <\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column class=\"text-modules \">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                         <h3 class=\"subtitle text-modules__subtitle\">INCOME THRESHOLD<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"row m-0\">\r\n                            <div class=\"text-modules__content\">\r\n                                The average monthly GROSS INCOME per family member\u00a0(living together and supporting themselves jointly), achieved in the previous tax year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Calculation of the income threshold<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The income is calculated based on the total of all incomes earned in the previous calendar year by the entitled person, and by the persons living together in the same household and supporting themselves jointly with the entitled person (that is, living together and supporting themselves jointly).<\/p>\n<p>The total of incomes of all the persons shall be divided by <strong>12 m<\/strong><strong>onths<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0and then divided by the number of people living in the same household (the number of people living in the same household and supporting themselves jointly at the time of submitting the application).<\/p>\n<p>The maximum amounts of benefits (co-financing) for the entitled employees (pensioner\/disability pensioner) and their children are defined in\u00a0<em><strong>Appendix no.<\/strong><\/em><em><strong> 1<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0to the Regulations of the University Social Benefits Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Table of the annual limits of co-financing (app. no 1, p. Fund)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>employees<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>of the University of Silesia in Katowice (employed on the basis of employment contract, regardless of the worktime, including the employees on the maternity leave, paternal leave, childcare leave, unpaid leave, health leave, and convalescent leave)<\/li>\n<li><strong>former employees<\/strong>\u00a0of the University of Silesia in Katowice, who retired or receive disability pension (hereinafter referred to as \u201cpensioners\/disability pensioners \u2013 former employees\u201d);<\/li>\n<li><strong>children \u2013 <\/strong>employees\u2019 biological children, adopted children, foster children, the children supported by the employee or the former employee of
