{"id":12549,"date":"2019-11-03T19:23:49","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T18:23:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/?page_id=12549"},"modified":"2023-03-22T13:43:58","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T12:43:58","slug":"osoby-nieslyszace-i-niedoslyszace","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/en\/wsparcie-i-fundusze\/dostosowanie-do-specjalnych-potrzeb\/wsparcie-specjalistyczne\/osoby-nieslyszace-i-niedoslyszace\/","title":{"rendered":"Persons with hearing impairments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><p><strong>PERSONS WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We offer support to students and doctoral students who due to their hearing impairment have problems functioning independently at the university, the support including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>assigning assistants to students with disabilities (ASwD) &#8211; such persons are to provide support thus enabling the student or doctoral student to participate in the academic life more effectively, i.e. during classes and exams, while taking notes (which may be also prepared in an electronic form), visiting the library or the dean\u2019s office,<\/li>\n<li>assignment of a sign language\/manually-coded language interpreter &#8211; persons communicating with the use of a sign language or manually-coded language can count on the assistance of an interpreter who will accompany them during classes, visits to the library or the dean\u2019s office, as well as in other situations important in the life of students and doctoral students,<\/li>\n<li>sharing educational support equipment \u2013 university faculties rent equipment which might be useful for students with hearing impairment: notebooks, voice recorders, etc.,<\/li>\n<li>access to the FM system \u2013 students using hearing aids might benefit from the possibility of renting the FM system, which enhances the hearing aid.
