{"id":12987,"date":"2019-11-04T17:45:27","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T16:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/?page_id=12987"},"modified":"2020-06-24T18:14:51","modified_gmt":"2020-06-24T16:14:51","slug":"indywidualny-tok-studiow","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/en\/studia\/tok-studiow-2\/indywidualny-tok-studiow\/","title":{"rendered":"Individual course of studies (ITS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        <h3 class=\"page-title text__title\">Individual course of studies (ITS)<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><p>ITS, or the individual course of studies, consists in selection of courses (modules) within the framework of a given programme and beyond, also involving the student\u2019s participation in research, development and implementation activities \u2013 considering the student\u2019s individual interests.<\/p>\n<p>If the student obtains ITS, the period of studying may be shortened.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        <h3 class=\"page-title text__title\">Who may apply for ITS?<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a student who completed the first semester of his\/her programme and obtained the average grade above 4.0 (the didactic board of a given programme may raise the required average grade); or<\/li>\n<li>a student who has been employed by the University as a result of obtaining an individual or team grant for financing of research; or<\/li>\n<li>a student who graduated from a 1<sup>st<\/sup> level course obtaining the \u2018excellent\u2019 grade on his\/her diploma and continues at the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> level, submitting a written detailed programme of the intended implementation of ITS is required; or<\/li>\n<li>a student who is a laureate or finalist of a central-level scientific olympics or a laureate of an international or national contest \u2013 from the start of the programme s\/he is studying.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        <h3 class=\"page-title text__title\">Application for ITS<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><p>A student applying for ITS submits to the Dean the list of courses in which s\/he intends to participate, including the conditions of participating in the classes and of obtaining the credits arranged individually with the teachers. The Dean decides whether to grant the student ITS, considering the student\u2019s progress, interests and endowments.
