The aim of volunteering at the Help Point is to focus on the needs of victims of violence, often left on their own and completely helpless. It also allows students and graduates to gain experience in the field of psychological and legal assistance. Volunteering is carried out at Victim Help Points and self \u2013 help units \u2013 these institutions operate in most cities in the Silesian Voivodeship.<\/p>\n
Volunteering consists of the following stages:<\/p>\n
By participating in volunteering, you will:<\/p>\n
Volunteering is primarily addressed to students (who have completed the second year of studies) and graduates in Law, Psychology, Pedagogy, Social Work, Cognitive Science, Family Studies or Philosophical Counselling and Coaching.<\/p>\n
The project is organised annually. The first information meetings start at the end of the calendar year (please follow the news on the Career Office\u2019s website), trainings are held in the first quarter of the year, while volunteering can be carried out on a date agreed jointly with a self \u2013 help unit.<\/p>\n
