{"id":61177,"date":"2026-03-30T09:34:56","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T07:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/?p=61177"},"modified":"2026-04-03T11:18:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T09:18:00","slug":"wielki-sukces-studentek-uniwersytetu-slaskiego-na-dhub-awards-w-salerno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/student\/en\/wielki-sukces-studentek-uniwersytetu-slaskiego-na-dhub-awards-w-salerno\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Success of Our Students at the DHUB AWARDS in Salerno!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We are delighted to share the international success of participants in the \u201cUniversities of the Future\u201d project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">During the official final gala of the DHUB AWARDS competition, held on 27 March 2026, at the City Hall in Salerno (Italy), our students\u2019 projects were recognised for their innovation in the areas of social inclusion and entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A special distinction was awarded to Julia Dudek, who won the prize in the Creativity category. Two other initiatives representing our university were also shortlisted as finalists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Awarded and recognised projects:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>\u201cEmbrace\u201d \u2013 Julia Dudek (Creativity Award):<\/strong> This project is an artistic and therapeutic response to the challenges faced by adults with ADHD. The author created an exhibition combining photography with an audio piece titled \u201cStream of Thoughts,\u201d allowing audiences to better understand the inner world of a neurodivergent person\u2014thought chaos, difficulties with concentration, and emotional tension. The project also included art therapy workshops for couples, aimed at building mutual understanding and support.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>\u201cExperience Platform for Neurodivergent Individuals in the Tourism Industry\u201d \u2013 Dominika Wencel (finalist):<\/strong> This initiative focuses on designing inclusive travel environments for neurodiverse people. The project proposes a model of tourism services (e.g., micro-retreats or workations) that reduce sensory and cognitive overload, making business travel more accessible for people with invisible disabilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>\u201cDignified Support for Mature Minds\u201d \u2013 Klaudia Nowak and Malwina Paliwoda (finalists):<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The students are developing a series of specialised cognitive exercise workbooks with elements of reminiscence therapy aimed at older adults, including people with Parkinson\u2019s disease. The innovation of the project lies in its modular structure, combining memory training with reminiscence therapy to support independence among seniors while easing the work on their caretakers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>About the \u201cUniversities of the Future\u201d programme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The success in Salerno is the result of work carried out within the \u201cUniversities of the Future\u201d programme, implemented by the College of General University Education of the University of Silesia in Katowice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The programme supports students in developing innovative ideas with significant social or technological impact.
