The Doctoral School at the University of Silesia in Katowice was established on 14th May 2019. The first group of doctoral students began their education on 1st October 2019. The aim of the Doctoral School is to educate doctoral students at the University of Silesia. Its major goal is for doctoral students to prepare top-quality doctoral dissertations and be prepared for participating in academic and social life as researchers, academic teachers, specialists, and effective administrators of knowledge. \u00a0The school accomplishes this goal through high-quality education delivered in cooperation with faculties of the University of Silesia and providing administrative support for doctoral students, as well as support regarding their research activity.
